I have just come across your website and am desperately trying to track down
people who may have served with my Uncle John David Griffiths who served in
this regiment from approximately 1968 - 1972 and then again from around 1974
- 1983. (He was born in 1951 in Hartlepool)
If any of you know him or know anyone who might know him I would be
grateful for any information you can pass my way, I am trying to put
together details of his service and to see if anyone has any photos of him.

Former Gunner Ron(Taff)Smith
Dear Geoff
I would like to inform of the untimely death of Ron, my brother-in-law. He
served with 6 Light Regt RA in the Far East.
He was then posted to 4 Field Regt RA while they in Munsterlager and was
then posted to 24 Missile Regt in Paderborn
in 1971. He was discharged after serving his 9 year engagement in 1973.
He died on !0th Nov 2005 at the Royal Gwent Hiospital, Newport S. Wales, He
has been in for about 6 weeks with
breathing difficulties.
I married one of his twin sisters Sue and John Brummy Davies (97 Bty)
married Diane the other sister.

Malaysia Medal. Application forms can be down loaded from the NMBVA

I have been looking at your website and seeing some of the names on it, and it brought a few memories back.
